Crab Rangoon
Ingredients
8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
3 oz. crab meat (drained and crumbled)
2 green onions, (finely chopped)
1.5 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 12 oz. package Wonton wrappers
Directions
1. Combine all filling ingredients in a medium bowl
2. Lay out wonton wrappers, place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each.
3. Moisten the edges of wonton with a little bit of the egg wash. Fold in a triangle and press to seal – removing air from inside. egg wash is used as glue.
4. Pull the sides of the triangle up, attaching them to the seal on top, push on edges to get rid of any air exposure.
Baking option :
5. Preheat oven to 375 Celsius. Spray baking sheet with non stick cooking spray, place sheet in oven for abut 5 minutes.
6. Place wontons on warm baking sheet. Coat them with light layer of nonstick spray
7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, checking them after 5 minutes. Bake till crisp and golden brown. Serve with warm sweet sour sauce or mustard sauce.
